An on-site launch event for a new residential development, built on an undeveloped plot with no existing power or structures, for an expected 1,200 attendees.
The brief
The developer needed the site itself to be the venue: no power, water or structures existed on the plot before the build began, and the event had to convey scale to prospective buyers.

A 6,000 sq ft tensile structure was built on bare ground over three days, with full trackway flooring laid across the guest walking route to keep the site accessible regardless of weather.

Execution
With no existing power on site, the build ran entirely on generator power from day one, which meant sequencing generator delivery ahead of every other trade so structure lighting and tools had power on arrival.
The ground itself sloped noticeably across the plot, so the flooring team had to build a levelled sub-frame under the trackway rather than laying it directly, an extra day of work that wasn't in the original schedule but kept the guest walking route level and safe.
